Certificate IV in Aviation in Sydney

The commercial pilot license is the basic requirement for flying. The Menzies Aviation offers detailed theoretical and practical training during the course.
Minimum age required to obtain a commercial pilot license is 18 years. In the beginning, you are allowed to fly within the country.
The pilot must have sound knowledge of English. She/he must read/write & speak English fluently.
This course gives you the exposure to handling emergency situations, passengers, and maintenance of the aircraft.
Hands on experience enhance skills to carry out the navigation operations.

Eligibility

Minimum age required to join the course is 17 years
Medical Fitness certificate from CASA Designated Aviation Medical Examiner.

Syllabus Outline

Compulsory full-time attendance
157 hours of total flying session including:
– 82 hours dual flight training
– 70 hours solo flight time
– 5 hours synthetic flight time
Briefing and Debriefing after each flying lesson. Duration of briefing last for 1-4 hours

Theory Training

– Basic Aeronautical Knowledge (BAK), PPL Theory Course

Examinations

Theory exam

CPL Exams –Conducted by CASA at the ASL exam center in Brisbane

Practical Exams

Private Pilot License test (after approximately 48 hours)
CPL Flight Test (After approx 160 hours)

Certificate

Marks obtain in theory, and practical examination is combined to procure the final results. Students are awarded a Certificate IV in Aviation (Commercial Pilot Airplane License) and CASA Commercial Pilot License (Airplane).

Dismissal of Course:

100% refund of fees if the institution receives cancellation request in written before four weeks from the commencement of the course.
50% refund of fees before three weeks from the commencement of the course.
Fees will be forfeit if cancellation request comes in two weeks before the start of the session.
